How to confirm yours
Look at your most recent bill or payment notice and any transition letter you received. The company named there is the one to write to. Servicer names on your original contract may not match the company now collecting payments. If you are unsure, the answer usually appears on your latest statement.
Why it matters
A production guarantee is a promise in your lease or PPA that your system will produce a stated amount of electricity. If it falls short, the agreement can call for a credit or refund. The company that now services your agreement is the one to ask. Read whether the guarantee survived the bankruptcies and how a true-up works next.
