Sunnova portal / MySunnova login: what happened to your account?
If you are searching for your old Sunnova portal or MySunnova login, the short version is that Sunnova's operations moved to SunStrong Management after its 2025 bankruptcy. We could not confirm where the login itself lives now, so this page covers what we can source and what to check about your production guarantee.

The short answer
Sunnova Energy filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 9, 2025. A buyer, Solaris Assets LLC (backed by GoodFinch Management), acquired substantially all of Sunnova's assets in a court-approved sale that completed in early September 2025, and Sunnova's operations transitioned to SunStrong Management. If your account used to live on a Sunnova portal, SunStrong is the servicer our research points to for it now.
What we could not confirm is the current web address or sign-in process for the old MySunnova portal, or whether your old login still works. We are not going to guess at a link. The most reliable source is the latest bill, email or transition notice you received, which should name the company and website to use.
What happened to Sunnova accounts
- June 9, 2025: Sunnova filed Chapter 11 in Houston, Texas.
- Early September 2025: the court-approved sale to Solaris Assets LLC completed, per trade-press coverage of the sale.
- After the sale: operations transitioned to SunStrong Management, the same company that services the legacy SunPower lease book. Our servicer table shows how that fits with SunPower, PosiGen and Sunrun systems.
Sunnova had a mix of lease, power purchase agreement (PPA) and loan customers. As of the end of 2024, roughly 59 percent of its contracts were leases or PPAs, the contract types our research ties to production guarantees.
What to check about your production guarantee
Before Sunnova's bankruptcy, it published production guarantee information for customers. We could not verify whether that information or process continues under SunStrong, so do not assume it does. In the general case, Sunnova-era guarantees continued because the agreements were transferred rather than discharged, but that is a general finding, not a ruling on your contract. - Find your lease or PPA and read the production guarantee section: the guaranteed amount, the measurement period and the credit or refund it calls for.
